ASL Nook

Knowing what it was like to grow up as the only Deaf person in her hearing family and raising two young signers, Sheena felt something was missing from the internet. A place where everyone is welcome to learn ASL. Finding her inspiration from the Food Network Channel, ASL Nook came alive in 2013. Since that day everything changed! Little did the ASL Nook family know that it would have such a profound impact on people, especially on hearing families raising Deaf children.

Anon trendz

Anon Trendz presents “Sign Language - Animated Moral Stories”. Sign language helps in communicating with people for whom sign is the only form of communication. In this, clear hand shapes and relevant facial expressions are used.

statewide outreach center

In 1995, the 74th Texas legislative session mandated the establishment of a statewide resource center, the Statewide Outreach Center (SOC) at Texas School for the Deaf (TSD), for the improvement of educational outcomes for students who are deaf or hard of hearing in Texas. The center’s operating base is on the Texas School for the Deaf campus from which services and resources are disseminated to students, their families and the professionals who support them around the state.
