This group is for everyone associated with the Deaf community in our area. We are trying to build a supporting and encouraging atmosphere to encourage people to get together and enjoy ASL.

ASL Silent Bingo
Date & Time: Saturday, March 21 • 5:00–7:00 PM
Location: Blue Cat Game Cafe
Format: Bingo played entirely in American Sign Language (ASL)
About the Event
Whether you’re a fluent ASL user or completely new to signing, this event is for you. Bingo numbers will be called in ASL, making this a fun and accessible way to learn, practice, and connect with the Deaf and hard-of-hearing community.
Come hungry! Food and drinks are available to order from Blue Cat Game Cafe’s kitchen. We encourage you to arrive early and get settled in.
*Please Note: Bingo is free and the Cafe earns revenue for food and drinks, please plan to make a purchase if playing.

Master Gardeners of Thurston County will be providing a free gardening workshop. This event will be interpreted by an HSDC Interpreter.

Make it stand out
Join us for the Seattle launch of the YA romcom Someone to Daydream About by Sydney Langford, who will be joined by USA Today bestselling author Kamilah Cole. They’ll discuss this swoony, fast-paced romance that stars a Deaf, demiromantic teen from Seattle who falls in love with the lead singer of America’s most popular boyband during a whirlwind summer tour.
Notes about the event: ASL interpreters will be there. Facemasks are required to attend, and will be available at the venue. Event is free; RSVPs are strongly encouraged.

Empower our community to expand ASL by developing and delivering engaging STEM-related topics through creative language play.

Annual Deaf Picnic
Annual Deaf Picnic
One of its biggest events is the annual picnic for deaf and hard-of-hearing children and their families. Free hot dogs, chips and drinks provided plus well as entertainment from local fire department and police vehicles, clowns, face painting and more. The event is held outside on a school playground. There is grassy area and paved area. There is also a large covered area. Interpreters will accompany the characters to help with communication for the deaf children.

We are the foremost touring trade show for, by, and about deaf people. Since 2003, the DeafNation Expo showcase has attracted over 1 million attendees with hundreds of events throughout the United States.

Signing Santa
Welcome to Signing Santa! Our purpose is to provide the Deaf, hard of hearing and coda (children of deaf adults), along with family, friends and the community at large together. We are a non profit corporation with all volunteer administration and staff. 100% of all donation go straight to the cause we promote. We work year around to provide this and hope we can count on your generous donation. Serving the South Puget Sound Area of Washington State.
